Appalachian State University was chosen as one of 20 schools world-wide to compete in the Solar Decathlon, a prestigious competition focused on creating the future’s sustainable home. The Homestead project is a collaboration between engineers, architects, product and interior designers.

I designed a transformable dining/coffee table for the Homestead. The table must be able to seat at least 8 people a a dining table and must fit in the limited space provided in the Homestead’s design.
